For those who enjoy bicycle riding, the « Loire à vélo » itinerary is a real invitation to discover the beautiful countrysides along the Loire River. From Tours to Candes-Saint-Martin, 4 detailed itineraries are already available:
• Tours/Villandry
• Savonnières/Bréhémont
• Bréhémont/Savigny-en-Véron
• Savigny-en-Véron/Candes-st-Martin
They include: a map of the bike tracks, the most interesting spots you could find along the way as well as practical information such as bicylce rental, accommodations, restaurants, etc....
For several years now, the “Loire à vélo” project, is taking form and growing up!
Since 2005, the portion Tours-Angers is open to the public, offering already a total of 120 Km of bike tracks.
